I used to write a lot of lyrics growing up, and although I find myself more instrumentally inclined now I had always wanted to put together an album focused on showcasing candid strain in the lyrical subject and tone.
I grew up really coming from a punk aesthetic with music so it is retroactively understandable the first set of really inspired songs I had for a “down” toned album is the project that I wanted to get working on strongly enough to come up with an artist alias to use.
When I started releasing music under the Worlder name it was because I better start actually finishing some projects so I can do a good job with the better material.
That was the entire point of producing Statis Field, which was mastered by my friend Roben and is still the loudest WORLDER recording. Those extra dB seem to have eluded me but at least I was able to do everything by myself at the end of the day when I finally tried to complete the idea.
